Pentucket Athletic Association
The Pentucket Athletic Association (PAA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer parent organization founded in 1991 to support the athletic mission of Pentucket Regional High School. All parents of current student-athletes are considered members.
The PAA promotes scholastic and athletic achievement, fostering values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and strong work ethics. They raise funds through sponsorships, social events, snack shack sales and other team level fundraising events. Each year, the PAA awards multiple scholarships to graduating senior student-athletes and allocates expenditures to individual teams to supplement PRHS athletic department budgets. They also assist booster groups with financial management.
The PAA holds seasonal meetings, open to all parents, families, and coaches, and encourages involvement through volunteering at fundraisers, becoming a parent sponsor, or serving as a parent sports team representative.
A primary function of the PAA is to support the sport team booster program. Each team has coaches and parent designation annually to support fundraising events both in and out of season.
